    The word Aspergers makes me taste meaty pasta in my mouth, like meaty lasagna. I don’t know why I’m bothering to tell you that part. haha.

    I agree about not babying children, especially those that have differences. It doesn’t give them room to grow and develop ; to spread their arms out and realize themselves. How could someone be expected to overcome something when they are kept infantile?

    I’m happy you were able to figure yourself out. That IS some resilience!

  2. Thorough Introduction to Caregiving

    I mean this with all sincerity. People would take you more seriously if you were dressed in a more mature manner. That’s why you’re getting the type of comments you see above (below once this is posted I suppose). Incidentally, I had Aspergers for over 45 years before I KNEW I had it. Most of what parents are tyring to teach/help their AS kids with now, I had to figure out on my own. Not fun, but wow am I resiliant! Don’t baby them too much, but LOVE them a LOT!
